Valentina Grippo, born in 1971 in Rome, is an Italian politician and journalist, elected to the Italian Parliament in 2022. She serves as General Rapporteur on Media Freedom and Safety of Journalists at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), advocating for the protection of journalists and press freedom across Europe. In this role, she works on legislative initiatives and international reports addressing threats to independent journalism, media pluralism, and the safety of reporters in conflict zones and authoritarian regimes.
