Alina Păduraru

Alina Păduraru is the executive manager at Recorder, a Romanian independent video publication. After its launch in 2017, Recorder became one of the most impactful independent media outlets, producing viral video investigations and managing to spur real-life changes in Romanian society. Alina joined the Recorder team three months after the project’s launch as a journalist, contributing to numerous reports on social issues, human rights, poverty, and investigations into sexual abuse. At the end of 2024, she assumed the role of executive manager for the Recorder Community Association, the organization responsible for overseeing donations for Recorder.
